The Magnum Dynalab ST-2 vertical antenna is one of the finest FM broadcast band receiving antennas in its market. It is suitable for FM listeners in both urban and fringe reception areas. Right from its PH17-7 stainless steel whip through the gold-plated coil coupling to the stainless-steel encased, precision-wound loading coil, the ST-2 FM Antenna is built tough. The circuitry in the base loading coil connects to the whip and to the tuner via a 75 ohm cable. It maintains its excellent receiving characteristics while withstanding the rigors of nature in just about any geographical location where FM signals can be received. Yet it passes the most fragile of FM signals to FM tuner's circuitry with the kind of strength sometimes found only with much larger, multi-element FM antennas. It is less susceptible to multipath interference, due to its unique vertical polarization.

The Magnum Dynalab ST-2 FM antenna is more powerful than any single element dipole antenna. It is weather-sealed and offers 2.5dB of signal gain. Being a 1/2 wave design and not requiring a "ground plane" or counterpoise, the whip-like device can be installed on many locations including a mast, balcony, hanging in the window or from a tree. In the horizontal position, the Magnum Dynalab ST-2 antenna becomes bi-directional, when it is placed at right angles to the transmitter site. In an upright, vertical position, the reception may not be as good, but the choice of stations increases. The best possible installation is near a window or outside the house, as high up as practicable. The Magnum Dynalab ST-2 antenna offers an alternative to elaborate rotor antennas and improve signals and cut down noises under the worst condition.
