Description :
The Perreaux SM2 is a dual channel pure Class A pre-amplifier. Following their launch in the 80's, this pre-amplifier, together with the PMF2150B power amplifier, were wildly received by the US market, and helped propel this then relatively-unknown New Zealand company into newfound fame. Perreaux is renowned for their solid construction and build quality, and were the developers of the power MOSFET technology which enables the amplifiers to achieve impressive levels of sonic warmth and realism.
