The ProAc Tablette 50 Signature is the zenith of the Tablette formula, establishing a new reference level in mini-monitor performance. This Signature model blends an inspired design with the very latest refinements in drive unit technology to deliver natural and detailed reproduction set in an astonishingly large soundstage. Bass has been tightened and become even more controlled through the introduction of a sophisticated new five inch bass/midrange driver. The ProAc Tablette 50 Signature features a special copper magnet assembly, copper phase plug and polycarbon cone, set in a die-cast chassis. Loaded by twin open reflex ports in the rear of the cabinet, bass response is powerful and extended yet remains crisp and clearly defined. A new dome tweeter delivers incredible detail and openness whilst retaining a distinctive sweetness and fluency. Mated seamlessly by a specially dedicated crossover network, the drive units are housed in a formidable cabinet, critically strengthened and heavily damped to cope with the high power levels which the drivers generate.

The ProAc Tablette 50 Signature is one of the best mini-monitor for small rooms. It is an upfront and lively speaker with pinpoint imaging and plenty of detail. It has a spooky imaging, having such a detailed and precise placement of voices and instruments that sound very realistic. While its strengths lies in sound detail and imaging, it also produces a sonically sweet and clear sound quality with amazing clarity and an ability to layer from front to back. The bass is tight but not earth-shaking, and the treble is sufficiently airy to imbue an enveloping sense of atmosphere on almost everything, although the presentation can be a little lean and thin. It retains a crispness that is especially apparent on cymbals such that the leading edges are very well defined. Drum tracks are superbly rendered with an excellent pace and sense of timing. The speakers ensure vocal intelligibility while keeping an iron fisted grip on the bass. The dynamics have seemingly vast gradations between soft and loud, without ever showing a hint of compression. It does not go louder than many other speakers and neither does it have the gut-wrenching bass some audiophiles want fed intravenously. This sense of remarkable ease makes the ProAc Tablette 50 Signature suitable for truly enjoyable listening sessions.
