The Infinity Reference 2000.5 speakers are part of the Reference 2000 Series which consist of a family of bookshelf and floorstanding speakers systems. They feature their advanced acoustic technology, high-quality components, and exceptional cabinet designs at a budget price. From the family, the Reference 2000.5 is a 2-way, vented high-output tower model. The speakers use efficient drivers for maximum stereo output with minimal amplifier power. They are magnetically shielded, making them suitable for home theater applications as well.

The Infinity Reference 2000.5 are excellent budget speakers, incredible sounding for their size. Crystal clear sounding for the mid to high range frequencies, the excellent stereo imaging makes one feels like he is sitting in the studio where the recording is made. With respect to the low bass, it's rather flat and muted. Therefore it is best to be paired with an additional subwoofer. By doing that, these speakers perform quite admirably. Their response is great and can follow the transients of a well-engineered CD. The speakers will be great for people who enjoy clarity rather than a loud noise.
