Description :
The Acoustic Research AR18 is an update of the classic and much coveted AR7. It is a compact 2-way vintage bookshelf speakers that satisfied many audiophiles who listened to it. Every part of the speaker which goes into the manufacture is individually tested and manufactured in Acoustic Research's plant, producing top quality technical products and sound. Sonically, the bass of the AR18 is very quick and tight, providing a tangible feel of beats in the music. The sound also has a slightly recessed lower midrange, and small peaks in the upper mids and lower treble. It has a smooth and gradual roll-off on the extreme top that is uncommon in speakers. The Acoustic Research AR18 offers a true listening satisfaction for very extended periods of time
