Description :
The Rotel RC-980BX preamplifier is designed with the latest electronic technology
of its time, and incorporates Rotel's long experience as a specialist manufacturer
of audio equipment. The front panel is simplistic in appearance. It has one
on-off switch, one big volume control and two source controls - listen and record.
It also has a torodial transformer, and a superlative phono input. Rotel RC-980BX
has a built-in MC head amplifier. The selector is used to receive MM(moving
magnet) or MC(moving coil) phono catridge signal with an appropriate gain. The
preamplifier is equipped with two sets of output terminals in parallel (Output
1, Output 2). Signals from audio components connected to the input terminals
can be output through the Tape Out terminal.
The sound of
Rotel RC-980BX is uncluttered and transparent. Instruments in music can be understood
clearly, and there are no bias to any part throughout the frequency spectrum.
The phono stage sounds warm and is also very accurate. The Rotel RC-980BX brings
sonic pleasure to listeners with the functional beauty achieved through high
quality sound and top performance, at an affordable price.
